The much loved and well renowned Kushoom Koly is sadly now up for sale with Edward Mellor at auction following its closure last year.

This acclaimed curry house had been serving diners since 1971 and is one of Stockport’s longest running establishments, loved by all with many loyal customers considering it as a “cornerstone of the community”.

It is being sold with vacant possession and is suitable for a variety of uses such as a restaurant and bar or mixed used development subject to the necessary planning permission.

There are also ‘ongoing discussions’ with Stockport council about the potential to redevelop the site into eight apartments with commercial units below.

Sami Uddin, who ran the restaurant with his brothers Faruk & Abbo, is still working and cooking their amazing food at the Nook Cafe when they host their Curry Nights, the next one being on Wednesday 11th March, details HERE.

The auction is due to be held on Wednesday, March 18 at the Sheridan Suite in Miles Platting.
